President Trump on the Iran matter is going to take America from being a "good" country to being a "bad" country. The President often does not appreciate the moral gravity of the things that he does; and this is going to cost America irreparable reputational harm President Trump's plan to wipe out Iran's electricity generating system if the Iran regime doesn't make a deal with him by tomorrow at 8::00 pm to open up the Strait of Hormuz to all commercial navigation. It is really scary the immoral path he is planning to take; in his Truth Social post on Easter "Tuesday will be Power Plant Day and Bridge Day all wrapped up in one, in Iran" and in his Press Conference today he said we have a plan to knock out all of Iran's bridges and "Power Plants" by midnight tomorrow night and if the regime doesn't' make a deal by tomorrow "No bridges", "No Power Plants", The Stone Age for Iran. The Power Plant plan should be a "five alarm fire" alert for the American people because that is tantamount to mass murder of civilians in Iran. In Iran the winters go below freezing and the summers go above one hundred degrees Fahrenheit without electricity to run their HVAC systems Iranian civilians will freeze to death in the winter and die of Heat stroke and other heat related illnesses in the summer. Besides the shocking immorality of this move and the effect on America's reputation in the world this will bring to those Americans that believe in a God and believe that he blesses good people and punishes people that do bad things America will pay a price for all the innocent Iranian civilians lives that will be on our hands if Trump does this unconscionable act.
There is leverage that the American people have to try to stop President Trump here we should be saying and get our representatives in Washington to also say it that if he does this if President Trump uses America's air and missile power to take out Iran's electricity power grid system we will pursue impeaching the President. There is a legal basis to do so and it consists of the following. the U.S. Constitution allows for the impeachment of the President for the commission of high crimes, in 1996 the U.S. Congress and the President enacted into law a criminal statute defined as 18 U.S. Code Section 2441 (The War Crimes Act). War Crimes by this statute are defined by "grave breaches" as defined by the Geneva convention where in Article 50 it defines Grave Breaches as " extensive destruction and appropriation of property, not justified by military necessity and carried out unlawfully and wantonly" and also such war crimes are defined by violation of the Hague IV convention the applicable provision being "To destroy or seize the enemy's property, unless such destruction or seizure be imperatively demanded by the necessities of war". President Trump wiping out Iran's Power Plant system as punishment for the Iranian regime not capitulating to the President's demands does not fall into the legitimate military objective exception and so it would meet the federal statute's definition of a war crime so President Trump would be in impeachment jeopardy!
Watching President Trump at his news conference today he really has a problem at not seeing other people's perspectives about things which moves him into extreme adversarial situations with people. Like he is all bitter with NATO countries but doesn't he see these countries hold the rule of law in high regard and to these people and most Americans President Trump did not have legal justification for a war there was no imminent threat Iran wasn't even close to having a nuclear bomb and just because a country is building up their ballistic missile program to protect their nuclear enrichment program doesn't amount to an imminent threat.
President Trump keeps saying that the Iran Nuclear Deal wasn't working Iran was on track to have a nuclear bomb like if he keeps saying it it will become true, the truth of the matter was that the JCPOA was an outstanding success it was working exactly as designed and it was only designed to block Iran from pursuing a nuclear bomb for fifteen years "not ten years". And President Trump keeps saying "to the victor goes the spoils" so we should get Iran's oil doesn't he understand that the non super power countries throughout the world fear colonialism from countries like America that America will come and take their natural resources he is really hurting America's reputation. What the hell is he saying at today's news conference when he says America should charge tolls at the Strait of Hormuz instead of Iran he scares the world that is the fear of the world that America will take advantage of them financially!
President Trump should just do what he said last Tuesday, March31, he will permanently end the conflict in Iran in two to three weeks he won't care if he has a deal or not and he won't care if the Strait of Hormuz is open or not. President Trump tries to be too clever he fakes himself out; he says he doesn't want to tell people his plan he doesn't want the enemy to know his plan but he makes himself look like he is mentally unstable following this tact waffling back and forth and it can happen on consecutive days. One thing that President Trump should being doing if he wants a significant win on Iran is destroying through aerial bombing the 400 kilograms of sixty percent enriched uranium that the intelligence consensus says is entombed in the bunker complex in Isfahan mountain. Drop pamphlets from the air to civilians within five miles of the Isfahan mountain to vacate the area for three weeks because America will heavily bomb that area. Then America should use B52's to carpet bomb that mountain with that enriched uranium out of existence. These B52H planes can hold 51 - 500lb bombs or 30 1000lb bombs and from the Vietnam war this plane has a history of doing high altitude bombing with great accuracy (so America's doesn't have to worry about these planes being shot down) during the Vietnam war they were permitted to carpet bomb as close as three quarters of a mile from U.S. troops so they could continually hit this underground complex - this is a no brainer mission. Today President Trump bragged about how great Secretary Pete Hegseth and General Dan Caine are if they were at least competent and capable they would be suggesting and carrying out this mission and so the world could be rid of this serious threat!
