Apart from that, it is quite obvious the American public doesn't currently have the freedom to state the obvious truth.

When George Orwell wrote the line: "Freedom is the freedom to say that two plus two make four. If that is granted, all else follows." In his dystopian masterpiece 1984, he wasn't talking about mathematics — he was defining the essence of freedom itself.
 
I think this is my favourite quote from the leader of the only country to have invoked Article 5 of the treaty. Perfect America First.
