Probably a fake story. But, I have no problem with people, that might booby-trap a package sitting on their own porch even if it causes severe injury or death. A porch pirate does not have to steal from people, when they are not there to protect their property. Being a thief, just happens to be a risky way to make a living, so the worker, through unsafe work habits, suffers the results of taking the unmitigated risks of injuries on the job.

I would not do it, but, do not care if somebody else does it. But, I do think stealing is wrong, and do care about that, welcoming solutions to break a trend, getting all too common.
