Been wanting one for awhile and this one popped up on Marketplace. Going to need a little work, especially replacing those metal fenders with nice, soft plastic.

It seems pretty solid. Didn't come with basket straps so I haven't got to try it out yet.Looks like it has decent bones.
It started out life as a swivel dolly, but now it's fixed. What's wrong with keeping the metal fenders?

With the swivel, the steering is locked and the swivel limits the side to side motion of the front end.
With a fixed dolly, you must leave the steering unlocked, and there is nothing to limit range of motion. Cut a turn too tight, and it may be a catastrophe of metal car fender meeting metal dolly fender.
Looks to be in pretty good shape--Is the center set up for a motorcycle? Mine didn't have that center channel.Been wanting one for awhile and this one popped up on Marketplace. Going to need a little work, especially replacing those metal fenders with nice, soft plastic.

Read post#5Why dont you weld you on some new metal ones?
We don't need no stinking fenders. They're just extra weight. What's wrong with keeping the metal fenders?
That is the old swivel plate. They just welded it in. But that's an interesting idea. Adding a channel attachment for a bike.Looks to be in pretty good shape--Is the center set up for a motorcycle? Mine didn't have that center channel.
Practice, practice, practice. Why dont you weld you on some new metal ones?
I didn't notice that it wasn't a swivel. I had one some years ago and I guess I just thought they all swiveled. That is the old swivel plate. They just welded it in. But that's an interesting idea. Adding a channel attachment for a bike.![]()
