Was gonna say the same thing. So the OPs saying it's a good thing for LGBT is actually the opposite of that. Moonglow actually got it right.

Adopted behaviors outside religion cannot have 14th Amendment protections. Otherwise all adopted behaviors would have the same protections rights & privileges. That's how the 14th works. It's terrible for LGBT.
