As a matter of fact, outdoor cats do go missing on their own. They might wander off and stay months, and then just decide to come back. They are cats. That's what they do.

You don't understand hunting them and have never done it nor know anything about hunting.

When you pose for pictures you smile, always has been that way.

They aren't happy because "I killed something!" They are happy to show the trophies they got some from hunting which takes patience and some measure of skill. It's tapping into a tradition that goes back to the dawn of man, the hunt. There is something primal about it. Indians hunted with a tool, the bow and arrow also.

Hunting is also about being able to hunt and gather food if the need occurs. It's about the reminder we came from hunters and gatherers, that we can live off the land. That's a skill everyone should have some familiarity with.

Hunters don't go out and just kill animals and go home. Hunters process the meat, use the skins in a lot of cases and so on. You act like they do it just to orgasm from killing something and they just walk away to kill again and again and again.

Hunting also can help make a boy a man and it can remind a civilized man that he is a man. It also gives girls and women another view they normally would never see and it teaches they skills and makes them not "oh I'm just a soft feminine little lady that doesn't know anything but the big nasty world".

Hunting is no different than fishing.

You're just a cowardly, unmanly, soft and weak person that wants to hate everything he isn't and can not be. You're a contrarian that will never try to understand that which you hate irrationally and have no understanding of.

True, but I don't think it's a race thing....I think it's a culture thing.

The sad reality that almost NO ONE wants to acknowledge is that the overwhelming majority of the world's population participates in brutal needless killing and cruelty to animals on a daily basis, whether they realize it or not.

To me, paying someone to torture and kill pigs, cows, chickens, etc is just as bad as people in other parts of the world killing and eating dogs and cats. Both are barbaric. (I know that's an extremely unpopular opinion, so I'll put on my flame suit.)

While I agree with PETA on a lot, they are doing their agenda a disservice but misrepresenting what's going on. People will ask, "If PETA is misrepresenting THIS, what else are they willing to lie about?"
