1. Last night the Democrats went four for four.....Va,Ca, NJ, and NYC
It mattered not whether Trump endorsed (NJ) or not (Va).

2. When one looks beyond the simple letters "D" and "R," it must be admitted that it isn't a rational analysis that explains the predilection to vote Democrat.....it is something else.

3. No logical basis can be found in voting against America's interests, open borders, inflation, crime and criminals, wars, censorship, central contol of industry, socialism/communism, racism, anti-Semitism.......
I have asked Democrats to explain a rational basis for this.....and they ignore the question.

4. Even before the Trump victory I posted this:
Sadly, nor am I an optimist. The Bolsheviks control so much of the information available, a Trump victory may be no more than a dead cat bounce, as we say on Wall Street.

5.
We have witnessed much of Western Civilization buckle under to the tyranny of Bolshevism, and even Islamism, and it seems that this is our future, too.

Freedom appears too much of a burden for many folks.

1. While not the first to advance the sort of pap that kindergarteners' accept, Marx must be given his due credit:
From each according to his ability, to each according to his need (or needs) is a slogan that Karl Marx made popular....

...and, the spin-offs of his fantasy include socialism, Liberalism, Progressivism, Nazism and Fascism.

Now for the facts:

2. "Over the past 100 years the most oppressive ideology in the world has been communism [Marxism]. While the people who lived under it were starved, tortured and murdered, its leaders lived in luxury.
The suppression of ordinary people by their communist rulers far surpasses anything capitalist employers were ever accused of doing. While condemning exploitation, communist dictators turned out to be masters at it.

a. R.J. Rummel estimates that almost 170 million people were killed in the 20th century by their own governments. These are not deaths in war. They are the victims of genocide by the governments in the countries where they lived.

3. I just can't seem to either understand, or embrace, this sort of future for our country.
Maybe some Democrats can help me undertand the beauty and benificence of authoritarian governance.

3. No logical basis can be found in voting against America's interests, open borders, inflation, crime and criminals, wars, censorship, central contol of industry, socialism/communism, racism, anti-Semitism.......

Yeah but you voted for a 34X convicted felon anyway. You’re right, it defies logic. As you see that prices continue to go up, the deficit continues to rise, the government is not even open right now, late night comedians are being censored, and only the most brain dead of the brain dead continue to pretend that your fellow blob is not going senile. He admiteed that he didn’t even know who he pardoned.

But you’ll just post something snarky, crush another case of Oreos and waddle back to bed. Its what you do .

I am more optimistic. The Blue states are getting more Blue, but the rest of the states are getting more Red. If vote fraud can be brought under control, the Red states will win.

I appreciate you trying to help me understand the attraction that you find in Marxism.

Perhaps you could start with more specifics, such as explaining your vote for this:

Race and gender preferences

Language police

No punishment for criminals

Open borders

Attacks on the Supreme Court

Transgender sports competitions

Antisemitism

Wealth tax

Cancel culture

Welfare State

Government run healthcare mandates

Sanctuary Cities

Two-Tiered Justice system

I will say that I don't believe that the Democrat's clean sweep last night necessarily represents what will happen in the midterms, but neither do I believe that the Republicans have another candidate like Trump.....he is one of a kind.

I fear that one 4-year term will not be enough to right this ship.

Freedom is not the natural state of mankind.

If you look at history, the vast majority of people have been slaves to other men. In fact, there is more slavery in the world today than at any time in human history.

But our political leaders never address all the slavery that goes on today, even though there are things they can do to combat it. No, they simply virtue signal about caring about slavery by focusing on slavery that occurred hundreds of years ago that we can do nothing about.

Dennis Prager once said that people desire safety more than freedom, and looking at the world today, along with recorded human history, I can't argue this fact. People will gladly surrender all their freedom for their perceived safety for doing so as courage to fight for your freedoms is rarer than gold it seems.

It's like freedom of speech. It exists nowhere in the world EXCEPT the United States because freedom is not the natural state of man. In fact, the early Founderes passed the Alian and Sedition Acts shortly after gaining their freedom that prevented people from being critical of their political leaders. Luckily, Jefferson threw a fit and ran on overturning it. And even at that, he just barely won election over Adams to get the job done. But Jefferson was not able to overturn all of it, as what was Left FDR locked away innocent Japanese Americans in concentration camps during WW2.

And I will venture to say that with the next round of radical Leftists take power once again, that will disappear forever at some point. We got a taste of this after Joe Biden and company grabbed control of social media as they censored everyone and everything that was critical of the Covid vaccine and the Hunter Biden laptop. If Elon had not taken over Twitter, none of it would have even been revealed, but even when it is revealed, the the media and voters ignore it.

I am puzzled by this, a constant hallmark of your post

I suspect that I weight less than you do, and probably am far more attractive, as I have had my pic up on the left since I joined, and posted a number of my pictures over time.

I have asked you to do so often but you have steadfastly declined.

That must mean something.......

I even put up in the computer forum a cartoon version of myself.....

Could it be that you feel you have no real way to combat the posts that I provide, and pretend that I "waddle" while the fact is that you are horribly grotesque both politically and in your physiognomy???

Is it possible that some 75 million Americans actually want to be freed from the responsibiltiy of thinking, making rational decisions, and earning their own livlihood?

That does seem to be the "benefit" of turning one's ability to face the vicissitudes of life over to the state........

Perhaps they never heard the fable ......

The Dog and the Wolf
A gaunt Wolf was almost dead with hunger when he happened to meet a House-dog who was passing by. "Ah, Cousin," said the Dog. "I knew how it would be; your irregular life will soon be the ruin of you. Why do you not work steadily as I do, and get your food regularly given to you?"

"I would have no objection," said the Wolf, "if I could only get a place."

"I will easily arrange that for you," said the Dog; "come with me to my master and you shall share my work."

So the Wolf and the Dog went towards the town together. On the way there the Wolf noticed that the hair on a certain part of the Dog's neck was very much worn away, so he asked him how that had come about.

"Oh, it is nothing," said the Dog. "That is only the place where the collar is put on at night to keep me chained up; it chafes a bit, but one soon gets used to it."

"Is that all?" said the Wolf. "Then good-bye to you, Master Dog."

Better starve free than be a fat slave.

Thanks for another informative thread, PC.

For man to be free from other men, it takes a miraculous act from God to intervene.

It has nothing to do with democracy.

In fact, the only reason you have a day of rest is because of God, and not your slave masters in government.

That is why I applaud the rise of Socialist Democrats, who may crowd out more electable Presidential candidates in 2028.

Where the people who voted for the Nazi party in Germany evil?
August 19th 1934: Some 90 percent of German voters approved a referendum that made Adolf Hitler “Führer und Reichskanzler” (“leader and chancellor”).

  1. On March 12, 1938, Hitler’s troops rolled over the border from Germany, into Austria. This was the Anschluss, the annexation of Austria into Greater Germany. Three days later, Hitler entered Vienna, greeted by an enthusiastic crowd of up to one million people. A plebiscite was held in less than a month, 10 April 1938, and 99.7% of Austrians voted to join the Third Reich.
Nov 12, 1933 93.5% of German electorate (43,000,000) voted in favor of Nazi policies.

  1. In 1938, Austria had a Jewish population of about 192,000, representing almost 4 percent of the total population. The overwhelming majority of Austrian Jews lived in Vienna, http://www.ushmm.org/wlc/en/article.php?ModuleId=10005447
