PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — Providence police say they have a person of interest in custody in connection with Saturday’s deadly shooting at Brown University.

Coventry police told 12 News they assisted the FBI in apprehending the person of interest around 3:45 a.m. at a hotel on Center of New England Boulevard.

The person of interest is now being transported to Providence, according to Coventry police.

Hotel huh.....Maybe the perp traveled like the DC shooter.

Perp reportedly yelled something before they started firing but nobody can recall what it was.

I have never seen a bigger bunch of bumbling bureaucrats than in RI. From the police chief to the mayor to the uni president, no one knows anything.

Yeah, for all we know a hotel customer dressed in a like manner could have been reported to the bumbling police by hotel staff. I hope I'm wrong.

Police have detained "A Person Of Interest " about 3AM at a motel in Cumberland, RI, and a vehicle was seized as well.

Pure "guess", but the tone of the Cop statements indicates they "think" they have their Perp.

That's it concerning the person of interest.

So six hours later and nothing further.

is stupid enough to get caught at a hotel after escaping to 17 miles from the crime scene.

It all adds up to one obvious conclusion that includes being a targeted terror attack, yet nobody has mentioned that yet.


Illegally has a gun (Glock by reports) on the gun free campus.

Illegally has 30 round mags in the state that bans 30 round mags and every state that borders RI.

Illegally kills innocent people.

Nobody in the classroom was armed to be able to defend themselves due to state prohibitions on possession of a gun on campus.

Once again the state lawmakers have empowered a criminal and probably terrorist to kill innocent people who obey the laws and are slaughtered for it.


Yet they cry for more gun banning and infringement.

Youre dead wrong. The UK has universal health system and the worst mental health care I have ever seen. I trained therapists there. The problem is democrats made 2 mistakes. They shut down all the mental institutions and passed laws that prevent long term mandated treatment for the violent and chronic mentally ill.
The NHS in the UK Is collapsing as wait times are in months and years and they are broke.
