People over use the word thug

In our society today people continue to over use the word thug and misrepresent it. Richard Sherman was called a thug for taunting in the nfl. People are called thugs for shop lifting or getting into fights. Real thugs are drug dealers and consistent criminals not a loud mouth or shop lifter.

Nope, by definition a thug is a ruffian.. a tough, lawless person; roughneck; bully.
