Lala, the 10 year old King Penguin is so smart - he walks to the fish store with his little backpack to shop for fresh fish every day.

When Lala the king penguin hits the road with his backpack on, his favorite destination is the fish store. There he’s a well-liked customer. And when he returns home to his Japanese family’s house, there is an air-conditioned room waiting for him. Years ago (circa 1996) Lala's family rescued him from a fishing line and when he was fully recovered, he refused to leave. He's been the family pet ever since.
