There will never be a permanent peace with Hamas in Gaza. No matter what peace treaty is established between Israel and Hamas, Hamas will simply rebuild tunnels, fill them, mosques, schools and hospitals with munitions and attack again at some point in the future.
Islam consists of two houses:
The House of Islam, which is the teaching, and day to day life under the thumb of their Mullahs, Ayatollahs, and clerics.
The House of War: This is not just conventional warfare, but asymmetrical warfare (guerilla tactics and the frequent "Allahu Akhbar" attacks by lone attackers.
Per their own admission, Islam is a conquering religion, and the following are on their violent hit list:
Judaism.
Christianity and all of its subsects.
Hinduism.
Sikhism.
Buddhism.
Shintoism.
Confucianism.
Animism.
Atheism.
Fringe Muslim sects that don't abide by the strict 7th century interpretation.
You have a choice: Convert to Islam, refuse but pay the Jizya Tax (it's the same as when the Mafia comes to your store and says, pay us X percentage of your earnings and your building won't burn down, or you won't lose your life, or flee to an area that is free of Muslims (there aren't any), or fight.
