Shortly after the end of slavery when there were really things to complain about. You would think that certain posters here today might read this and gain some perspective. We should all read this and keep things in mind and memory.

All Truth is Important .
But in the fullest context ,this is a very small drop in the ocean .

Not for people directly involved and affected .Obviously .

But do not give it a degree of attention and importance that it does not warrant in that famous Biggest Picture .
 
Hanging used to be the punishment for federal crimes. Lots of white offenders were hanged before and after 1917. That boils down to the offenses. Did the condemned prisoners engage in mutiny? Why can't the U.S. government execute Major Nadal today after he was convicted of killing 13 Soldiers more than ten years ago?
