Thoughts from the bike:

I’m 78 and it’s been six months since my last visit to the city’s medical center. My thyroid numbers were a little off last time like they were the time before that. At nearly 80, the telomeres attached to my chromosomes are getting shorter and natural breakdown will occur. I’m good with that and accept that I, like others, have an expiration date.

It is a subclinical condition that I choose to deal with by using diet and exercise. I do not trust the leadership at the medical center any farther than I could spit into a monsoon. That place is the source of the Fentanyl that has been killing my neighbors and the experts there imposed the con of Covid on the city by making everyone wear worthless paper masks. The DEI leadership of the center is part of the modern matrix that wants to collapse our society along with the city’s newspaper and radio programming. I know it is up to me to take care of myself.

I will never be a good sheep in the city. I do not want the city’s alcohol, weed, and opioids. They are used to control the citizens. The kids in the city’s schools are way down in math and reading skills and I think that is planned. This “sustainability” that the city has adopted is part of something larger and more complex than many realize. There is no need to properly educate a population if you can dumb them down into sheep. I am certain that Covid was a trial balloon concocted to test mechanisms to cull the herd. I personally know many who were harmed by the vaccines.

My home city is a creepy little town, and it has dug in its heels against efforts to repair the damage done by sustainability culture. What you do is up to you. If you study the city media, you can see what is happening. If you are going to just blindly get in line that is your choice. That is not the best policy for personal happiness. If you just get a big bag of cheese popcorn and wash it down with a six pack of Budweiser cans, you are a considered a good city citizen. There is a who’s who of these people in the early-death obituary pages.

The Boomers are largely a rotten generation, and I am not proud of that. I saw this coming with the Woodstock zeitgeist. They came home, went through penicillin by the barrel for few months and then were right back at it. You may have noticed that penicillin does not work like it used to. You can thank the Boomers for that.

The government is aware of what has happened. That is why they are in the process of replacement. The old citizens like you and I are now a burden. What will the next trial balloon be? I cannot tell you that, but I can tell you that another is likely already on the way.

WTF?.....Perhaps you would be better off on the couch instead of out and about pushing peddles among the great unwashed.

Hell, I like being "invisible"....It's almost like you become an instant "gray man" when you hit 70 or so. :)

It's also quite likely your city is fine, and you are creepy.

You don't win any prizes for riding your bike, you either enjoy it, and the benefits it provides you, or you don't.

Those are your two choices.

LOL....I bet they say, "look at that old creeper on his bike". :)

I swear we had one old guy (passed on now) in town that tooled around on his bike that was a dead ringer for Freddy Kruger.

when you expire I will miss you. I will say a nice prayer.
When the majority of others die on this site I will not miss them at all.

Sad part is alot of those guys are drunks and have no license. I give Ray credit for his commitment to exercise, he rides his bike more than I ride mine. And smart money says he still has a drivers license.

Well the other day he was bitching about hurting with cramps and such.

A man needs to listen to what his body is telling him.

Maybe you should stop thinking so much on the bike

Just enjoy the scenery

We Boomers had the best of everything so quit your whining and be thankful.

I actually had cataract surgery about a year ago so I should hold on to my license for awhile.

Gold-Plated Geezers

There's probably a way that telomeres can be blocked from functioning. How can people not notice that the rich and famous are living way beyond their expiration date?
It's well known that for millennia, that class has had special medicine.
