Probably still sharper and more durable than anything from Harbor Freight!
yes don't use these blend but how did they 5K years ago?

did they really know the difference between nickel, lead, arsenic and silver
and where exactly did they round this up from is a big question
another question, what made them think this blend would be harder?
if they were only using copper [again where found] then trial and error
would say, yep this is better but what blend so it's not brittle
and still how did they form it? likely poured into a mold and the
a hard stone to sharpen the rough cast is my guess

I cast things in 10th grade metal shop, we used this oil sand that you use over and over

"The drill contains arsenic and nickel, with notable amounts of lead and silver,” co-author Jiri Kmosek said in a statement. “Such a recipe would have produced a harder, and visually distinctive, metal compared with standard copper. The presence of silver and lead may hint at deliberate alloying choices and, potentially, wider networks of materials or know-how linking Egypt to the broader ancient Eastern Mediterranean in the fourth millennium B.C.E.”
