They've nominated a guy who served two years in the U.S. Senate (Obama), an old man with dementia who had been in Washington for over 50 freaking years and was corrupt as hell (Biden) and the most incompetent, jibberish-spouting clown to ever hold the office of Vice President (Harris). And that doesn't even include arrogant blowhards like Gore and Kerry. It's a party that nominated Adlai Sevenson to run against the hugely popular General who helped win WWII, Dwight Eisenhower, and after he got blown out, nominated him again four years later.
Then there was George McGovern, a far leftist (but at least a patriot). Only JFK was a somewhat impressive candidate. Oh and maybe Bill Clinton, if you ignore his pecadillos and simply amazingly bad in choosing a spouse.

Also, vanity candidates need to be purged by the party bosses. There needs to be a cutoff percentage in the first caucus and primary to weed out the chaff.

Trump only garnered about 30 percent of the primary votes in 2016. 70 percent of Republicans wanted anyone but Trump. But we had 18 other assholes dividing up that vote.

Any one of them was a far superior, actual conservative Republican. Every last one of them. There was even one candidate who helped balance the federal budget and then went on to take his home state from deficit to surplus.

Trump went on to double the deficit BEFORE Covid. And then he completely bungled the one and only crisis he faced, resutling in a million American deaths. Then he staged a coup.

No one would have taken someone seriously who said Trump would do all that. But he did, and much more.

Trump was the absolute worst of the lot.

The November election is decided long before November.

Zealots turn out disproportionately for the primaries and they end up deciding which EVIL will be the party's candidate in November.
