"I strongly urge (your Congressman) to oppose a long-term spending bill, and, instead, support a short-term spending bill, so the next Congress can DEFUND PRES. OBAMA'S EXECUTIVE AMNESTY." (This isn't a government shut down).

THAT'S ABSOLUTELY NOT TRUE!!!

I e-mail and call all the time. I never get spam.

Heard a story one time of a guy who wrote his Congressman. He was some sort of sports star back in high school and College and got the name Moose or Hero or something like that. Everyone in the town (I think it was in South Carolina) called him that and he signed his letters that way.

One day he wrote his Congressman.

The Congressman's office wrote back. Only when they did, they used his birth name. They looked him up in whatever databases they had, had a computer spit out some information and wrote back using his birth name.

Calls back to the Congressman's office were not returned.
