I hate to do it, but I had to throw a kid out of my classroom today. After repeated warnings, I heard the 'N' word one time too many and I had to make an example. The kid tried to lie, excuse, and blame "someone else," but the die had been cast. There are some words I will NOT have in my classroom, and that one is near the top of the list. He'll be spending several days after school if nothing else.

I guess it really depends where you live. In my area I haven't heard anyone use that word in like decades.

I am glad to report that my students are really getting it. If you the kids catch themselves starting to use that word when they’re just chatting with each other, and when they do they stop themselves and apologize and continue. I have a new student in class today who is black with sincerely curious as to why I have such a problem with that word so I was happy to stop and explain it to her and she seemed pretty satisfied with the explanation as I put it in the context of respect for her and the other students and everybody in the class and then the school and in the community. It’s good to see understanding something so important.

I'm thinking essay about 10th Century Norse royalty ... wouldn't that be fun? ...

I'm shocked your school board allows that word at all ... is this The South and if so, is it in a colored school? ... I think colored people are allowed to use that word ... just saying ...

Which one? 'ER' or with 'GGA'. Blacks say 'GGA' word all day everyday and less use 'ER' word. But the violent forkers go insane if anyone else says it and will gang beat the one who spoke the word to death (even youth). Pounding heads into cement, kicks to face, raining down blows on unconscious heads. See the millions of daily Black mayhem videos Leftist puke try to ignore or justify. Avoid....cross the street. Watch out for the sucker punchers or subway pushers. It is a fact, an epidemic unleashed by Obiden 1.0.

Stop watching bad movies.

Nobody allows that word.

I use it ... when appropriate ... I don't hate non-whites so I'm free to use all those words ... using that word helps explain some of the finer aspects of Fair Housing Laws ... instead of "children" or "New Age Priestess" ... same law, same results ...

But then again I wouldn't use that word on school grounds or any school sponsored activity ... it's an "adult" word for sure ... like , ***, ** ,******* ,** ,*********** ,***** and ****** ... we just don't use these words in front of children ...

It's never appropriate.

... except when you want to use it ... or is lame paraphrasing always allowed ... my question was why the school board allows multiple warnings for it's use ... when obviously you're intolerant ... in construction, we fist-fight over this ... you can't hit the child but you can beat the crap out of the parents who are teaching the child this behavior ...

Do the world a favor ...

I wish we had cameras in the classroom

I’d like to see the evidence of that
