And interesting movie. Yes, it is a remake, and yes it is yet another version of the Dracula story among dozens of the same over the years.
Add to that, that it the movie is made like movies out of the 1940s-1960s. Overly dramatic music, low tech special effects and overly dramatic costumes and acting.
But it is quite good despite all of this. It is definitely interesting. It holds your interest, the characters are well done. It is a good movie.
The only drawback for me was William Defoe. He is a solid actor, I like him in most everything he has done. But for some reason, for me he didn't fit the role.
Watch this one, it is worth the stream rent.
