Newbie Questions

1. Why do some users have a bold username when they don't have the Moderator tag under their name? Is there a way to make your name bold?

2. How do you join a social group? I wanted to join one but couldn't find the button to actually join it.

Those are just two questions so far, I may have more, but hopefully someone can help me out with these ones.

1. Contributing Members get a bold user name. It doesn't take very much.

2. Some Social Groups are by Invitation. You can always start your own. http://www.usmessageboard.com/group.php?do=create
