I never been into these approval ratings polls. I'm not sure of their having any real meaning this far ahead of an election.

If indeed Trump's current rating is low, I'll take it as a temporary condition and confirmation of my opinion that unlike the (D) vs (R) US Message Board game in assigning blame for the shutdown, the public in general sees the buck stopping at the President.
