Teachers tests are incompatible with DEI (Didn't Earn It) hiring so they cancel the tests.!!! America is doomed.

jan 5 2024 Teachers in New Jersey will no longer be required to pass a basic reading, writing and mathematics test to be eligible for public schools, according to a new law.

Act 1669, which was signed into law by Gov. Phil Murphy, D., in June, went into effect on Wednesday at the start of the new year. The law aims to tackle teacher shortages in the state by removing what the New Jersey Education Association (NJEA), a teachers’ union, called a "barrier" to certification in 2023.
The Praxis Core Academic Skills for Educators test is used by over 40 states and territories in the country and includes questions on English and mathematics as well as basic questions on specific subjects.

"We need more teachers. This is the best way to get them," Democratic state Sen. Jim Beach argued

So the people teaching your kid how to read and write don't themselves need to prove that THEY can read and write! Got it.
Of course, schools don't spend much time on reading and writing anymore.
They had to clear space to make room for DEI and global climate and environmentalism, muslim sensibilities, and proper pronoun use.

People aren’t fleeing NJ fast enough

This will accelerate the flights of young families, bringing NJ closer to Third World Shithole Status

Math and reading appear to be de-emphasized. New Jersey could be just part of the trend, not caring whether their school kids get adequate education in these areas or not.

There's a teacher shortage this is what happens when you pay teachers crap wages, this is capitalism, this is the system you admire so much, deal with it. They get paid a lot less than a handyman who might fix my fence or rewire my shed, in fact many handymen are probably former teachers.

Expecting high standards of skill when the pay is less than many simpler less taxing jobs is idiocy. But don't worry Trump will fix everything :auiqs.jpg:

No. This is what you get when you pay them to teach 20 children in a classroom, then force them to add another 30 migrants who barely speak English into the mix and demand they show a high percentage graduating.
