  • Accidents

For the years 2002-present

Funny how I can find all those numbers for the US in seconds from the CDCs searchable, filterable database.

TIA

Rates per 100k are not raw numbers, and suicides are not caused by guns.

Those are statistics, not data. Such data is unavailable to the general public here. Why you ask? Because the truth can be hidden in statistics. Not so easily in data. For example, "An elderly man with a history of debilitating illnesses committed suicide recently". The critical data point is his long illness, a point missing from the statistics about suicide. Instead, his suicide is portrayed as an unnecessary tragedy that should have been prevented.

Show us the Australian numbers.

I think anyone who needs an AR 15 is an unskilled marksman that is driven by fear. For hunting, target practice and security, true marksman does not need an automatic rifle.
Anyone who owns a gun should make sure they are proficient with a firearm for their sake and others safety.

The latest gun related death rate in Australia is currently .88 per 100k (down from 2.9 in 1996). Of that rate, .15 were homicides. Their overall death rate is 7.3 per 1000, compared with 8.5 in the US.

Sounds like gun regulations work

Just for the record AR Style rifles are NOT automatic weapons.

Australia has had more massacres shootings since the gun ban than before the gun ban, in the same time span.

When Trump sends death squads around the country to kill Biden voters, we're going to need the firepower.
