There needs to be a new name for people SO stupid, that they make rocks look like Einstein.

Here in North Texas, we are supposed to get some ice and snow late saturday into early sunday.
With temps supposedly getting down to 11 degrees.
And then monday and tuesday are supposed to be in the 30s.
And then the temp goes back up the 40s and 50s by the end of next week.

And people here are raiding the ******* stores like it's COVID all over again!!!!!!

I went to the store after work today to pick up a couple of things, as I usually do. And the paper towels were all gone, there was very little toilet paper left, the sodas were less than half full, ALL of the bottled water was gone.......OMFG..........REALLY????? For FOUR lousy days of winter????

I remember when I was little, and we got two feet of snow for a couple of weeks, and people didn't rape the stores for one or two weeks of winter!!!! REAL Texans have sense, and know how a Texas winter works.

Here in Toledo we are forecast to have a negative 10 degree low Friday night and windy AF. There will likely be deaths from this cold blast. That kind of cold can overwhelm people quicker than they know if they are not used to it.

For REAL Texans we know we get this "hard" short winter every 5-10 years. It is expected, and we know how to deal with it.

My friends went to HEB Monday, and they said they could not find any place to park at all. People were just circling like buzzards through the parking lot. ROFLMAO

I shop at Tom Thumb and they were pretty much pecked clean. There was plenty of parking though.

Usually Texas "winters" are a couple of months of cold air, cold rain, and some high wind......off and on from late November to the end of February. Thats the norm for Texas winters.

But, about every 5 - 10 years, we get these hard frozen scenes where we might have 3 inches of ice, snow, or both for a few days.
A FEW DAYS. Not months, not years.........DAYS. Maybe some below freezing temps for a couple days as well, but it all gets back above freezing until it warms up for spring again.

Same happening NOW. Forecast is for below freezing temps saturday and sunday nights. Monday and tuesday nights at 32 - 35 degrees. Then back up into the 40s to 50s at night after that. Not WEEKS, not MONTHS.......DAYS.

And these retards around here acting like the world is ******* freezing over for good. All this for TWO DAYS of freezing weather that will be all melted by next Friday.
