Well maybe Ukraine shouldn't have had a genocide policy towards its Russian nationals for the past 15 years. Putin ignored the situation for a long, long time before the cries for help finally moved him. That and there is no question that NATO was building up UKRAINE as an invasion base for the future invasion of Russia. Putin knew this and just beat them to the punch.
