Everybody knows that the present-day United States Senate is represented in the following way : 53 seats occupied by Dems (both "Independents" currently caucus with the Democrats) and 45 seats are occupied be the Republicans. Republicans are seeking to win the six seats necessary to take control of the Senate, while Democrats hope to retain the Senate for the last two years of President Barack Obama's term. What consequences will come out if impeachment happens?
In order to take control of the Senate, Republicans may have to defeat more than two incumbent Democrats, a task the party has not accomplished since 1980. Will their internal fight, which broke out among the Republican leadership in early 2013 help?
Who knows... But anyway they have already attracted your attention ;-)
