Post the Conner Stallions cheating scandel, and Harbaugh leaving at least in part because he knew he was going to be banned from coaching by the NCAA. Harbaugh hand picked successor Sherrone Moore was fired and then later in the day arrested.

Michigan Football took a step in the wrong direction.

Fired for cause. Must be some actual proof or smoking gun? Another Black can't be trusted around young students. Can't keep it in the pants. Big powerful millionaires given the key to do whatever they want with whomever. Wife and daughters must be thrilled.

But of course, we have not heard his side of the story as of now. ALLEGED MISCONDUCT. Other than the arrest part....oooops. go for it Stain, splain.

He 100% had a sexual relationship with a staffer, got her pregnant which was subsequently aborted and then doubled her salary. That for sure happened. I think Michigan wanted him gone regardless because they didnt think he was the coach for them but 9-3 doesnt get you fired. If he were 10-2 and beat OSU they probably sweep this under the rug.

Post getting fired he decided the thing to do was go home, threaten to kill his wife and himself with a knife., then jump in his car drive to the girlfriend's house and pull the same shit. Dude took his life poured copious amounts of gasoline on it and struck a match....

My favorite part of your story is where they paid the head coach 10 million and then he went out and got beat by Texas Tech 500 to nothing.

That guy is seriously messed up in the head to even go down that path.

1. The sign-stealing scandal was incredibly overblown given many points.
  • Video and broadcast scouting of sidelines already exists, and even coaches and programs share their recon between one another (as OSU and Purdue did before Purdue faced Michigan a few years back in the Big 10 Championship game)
  • Most signals are given via player substitutions, and many plays are called in a pre-planned sequence, so any scouting of sideline signals effects such a minimal portion of the game.
  • Teams are free to, and do, change signals at any time throughout the season. They aren't written in stone.
  • Michigan's rise in 2021 directly correlates with their complete overhaul of their coaching staff, bringing in multiple Baltimore Ravens coaches as well as having beast recruiting years, and earning the award for the best offensive line in college football from 2021-2023. That's just a team that was really good.

2. Had Harbaugh stayed, he wouldn't have gotten that show cause. The NCAA just slapped it on after he had left to go to the NFL to posture.

3. Sheronne Moore is a Harbaugh Parasite who didn't earn his spot, but was the right guy in the right place at the right time.

4. Any of his insane freak out and illegal activity after his affair was revealed isn't some judgment of Michigan football. While the story is shocking, what does it have to do with the Football program itself? OJ Simpson's issues didn't reflect on the NFL

However, it is just a dramatic black eye on the program, which is getting dragged through this just by association.

Im not going to relitigate the Conner Stallions cheating scandal. The bottom line is Michigan cheated. Whether you think it was a significant advantage or not relevant. Harbaugh was suspended for his impermissible contact with recruits not the sign stealing. Neither reflect well on the program.
3. Sheronne Moore is a Harbaugh Parasite who didn't earn his spot, but was the right guy in the right place at the right time.
And who made the decision to hire him?

Sherrone Moore was the HC of the UM football team. In what universe is him banging his assistant, getting her pregnant, doubling her salary, getting fired and then crashing out not a direct reflection on the football program? If he were out doing great things in the community it would be a reflection on the program. The only people who dont see this as a stain on the UM football program wear blue and gold colored glasses bro.
However, it is just a dramatic black eye on the program, which is getting dragged through this just by association.

And rightfully so. They hired him.

Harbaugh picked him. What did he know about his #1 pick? Is this the guys first "mistake"?

I don't think the school did a good job of vetting Moore at all.

I couldn't agree more. I never wanted him in the first place (I have receipts in my texts to friends I talk sports with). He was born in 3rd base and thought he hit a triple. He lucked out in 2024 by beating OSU 13-10 after an 8-5 season. Sadly, winning the game covers up major flaws in a coach. He was exposed this year but still riding off of the 2024 win. Now that we lost 27-9 this year, I was hoping they'd fire him. He made sure of that for me, but he ended up dragging us through sh*t on his way out.

And it's not over yet.
Reports are that he had a record of domestic abuse that was ignored and that the current athletic department may be on the way out as well, so prospective coaches are hesitant to commit to a program in such turmoil.

You're free to theorize, from what I have heard many reputable people have been shocked by this because Moore didn't have many red flags until all of this.

Well that would require evidence of a few things:
1. A "record" can mean many things. Claims by his wife? Actual police reports? Verified abuse? And what kind? physical?
2. Did the athletic dept know about these? how do we know that they knew and ignored it?

This would be THE time to clean house, but I won't trust "reports" like this because they're so vague and jump to conclusions (it doesn't mean they're wrong, it's just that big claims require big evidence)

Again, for some reason Harbaugh had in his contract to pick his successor. Cheating Harbaugh selected the Cheating physco.

This was discussed on Sirius MadDog sports. Why? Ask harbaugh.
