The more I hear about this, the angrier I get.



I live just under 200 miles from Minneapolis, and Sioux Falls, very close to where I live, has a growing Somali population. https://www.argusleader.com/story/news/2015/05/30/sioux-falls-somali-population-exceeds/28247431/

I have been working very hard to support a group of African Catholics, from Ethiopia and Eritrea -- countries directly adjacent to Somalia. As a matter of fact, the most recent addition of five priests to our Diocese are all from Africa.

Do we need to be super aware of these additions to our state, cities and parishes? I have really worked to be accepting of these "refugees". I will be watching how President Trump handles these populations.
