The father of the eight kids who sat together with him and their mother at a church function I attended last week does not agree with you.

There are MANY large families in my parish and if you talk to those husbands, they disagree with you. They see the Donna Reeds and Loretta Youngs when they look at their wives.

The difference is that those fathers/husbands are required to take long, hard, realistic looks at marriage and at their prospective wives before they can get married in our church.

And vice versa the mothers/wives.
