^^^ What the guy ended up doing is the reason why he is still here to talk about his experience. If he had remained in that seat, there is a good chance that someone else would be telling the story for him instead because he would be dead.

I'll have to disagree with you there. People have survived worse odds on roller coasters and something that should of killed them, they survive.
