April 19, 1775 on the field of Lexington Green, American Colonists stood against British troops who were sent to seize the Colonists weapons.

No one was certain who fired the first shot, but shots were exchanged. The long suffering of the Colonists under the oppression of their foreign occupiers finally came to a head.
