They acted on their own and nowhere else in the country did any Trump supporters do that because what happened at the Capitol that day was enabled by Nancy Pelosi and company. They knew it would likely happen so they left things open and accessable and didn't have security in place. Trump asked them to protest peacefully, but in the end they did what they wanted to.
