It seems to me soon EU will come across very unpleasant problem. I’m speaking about the nationality conflict between Lithuania and Poland. The fact is that the nationalist tendencies are extremely strong in all the Baltic States and particularly in Lithuania. Now Lithuanians are trying to oppress Lithuanian Poles: they are not allowed to speak Polish, the learning of Polish language is forbidden in Lithuanian schools, some radical nationalists even suggested "soaping mouth" persons who speak other languages... What outrage! I don’t understand how can it be possible in the EU, where the legislation guarantees observance of the rights of the national minorities!

There is certainly no love lost between the Poles and the Lithos here in Ireland, police have had to be called to factories where they work on several occasions to break up mini riots, they hate each other with a vengance
