lets feel wanted

Never been a big fan of the Melivins, but my understanding is that folks like Kurt Cobain and other better known Grunge artists were inspired by them.

thought I'd bring this up again, for some of the new members.

I'm a big fan of Cheap Trick. I saw them in concert six times when I lived in Arizona.

i love that video.

here's a little factoid:

"We're all alright" is the iconic refrain from the theme song "In the Street," also known as "That '70s Song," from the TV show That '70s Show. The original version was crafted by Todd Griffin and Ben Vaughn, adapting Big Star's song "In the Street," but the version most people recognize was recorded by the band Cheap Trick for the show.
  • Original Version: The original theme, used in the first season, was "In the Street" by Big Star, adapted with new lyrics by Todd Griffin and Ben Vaughn.
  • Cheap Trick Version: In later seasons, Cheap Trick recorded a cover version, re-recording the theme to make it more memorable as the show grew in popularity. This is the version that features the now-famous "We're all alright!" ending.
  • Sequel Series: The sequel, That '90s Show, also uses a cover of the same song.

There's a wonderful Cheap Trick concert in Sydney, Australia from 1988 on YouTube. It's over an hour long with no ads. Check this out if you can!
