Look, this war is beyond stupid, and Americans need to be asking if it is really necessary, but don't go spreading propaganda that somehow, we are doing badly. We are inflicting a lot of damage and causing the Iranian people (who we supposedly did this to help) a lot of misery.

The real problem is "Now what". Clearly, the regime isn't going to fall at this point, no matter how many bombs we drop on them. If anything, the Bombing has probably solidified support of the regime.

So we either need to declare victory and stop (and deal with an even more radicalized Iranian Regime that will get nukes at some point) or we need to send in ground troops that we don't have (because we've cut the army back to 8 divisions.)

Whether you lied or just made a mistake and backpedal later it is an idiotic complaint. You clearly have never served in the military, or you would understand something.

All military hospitals at all times exist for the primary purpose of treating casualties that come from military conflicts. They are maintained with a large capacity for patients in case of a large conflict.

Because we are not always in a conflict and very rarely in a a large conflict, the facilities are most often severely underutilized. in order to make use of the facilities and keep the medical staff in training and experience, medical facilities will often treat civilians and soldiers who have non-conflict related medical needs.

But everyone in the military or who is a dependent in the military, understands that their treatments are a "nice to," not an entitlement. If the commanders decided to keep the hospital cleared for action related to the Iran conflict, that sounds very wise to me.

I get it that you hate trump and just want to say that everything he ever does is always evil every time. But it makes you sound like an obsessive compulsive who cannot help himself. You and other posters on here should develop some self awareness about that.

With only 6 KIA it’s surprising to have to shut the maternity ward in a 65 Bed level II trauma center so far from the front.
