While I'd not want to go there now I can see how a younger man could enjoy a simpler full life there. That and he already had a foot in the door with a Russian wife.

I know a guy about my age with a Russian wife and they spend as much time in an Russian small town than they do in the US now since he retired. They have a second home there.

They had three kids but the sons were both working in the electrical trade and I think one or both are running their dad's business here now.....Not sure about their daughter as she was younger.
