Sounds like this happened a couple of months ago I don't remember hearing anything about it. His agent fell OFF THE BACK of the golf cart which is not where you are supposed to be. No mention of blood alcohol content. I've known guys to wreck their golf carts and got hurt but never heard of anyone dying. Very sad.

I highly doubt it, and even if they did, would they try and blame John Elway for driving too fast in a golf cart? The only thing I can think of is he was standing on the back of the cart, fell off backwards and smacked his head on the cart path. They did say he fell off the BACK of the cart.

Elway has been accused of drinking too much in past, in fact, the former head coach of the Dolphins was fired from that job and interviewed with Elway for the Broncos job, and said Elway showed up drunk to the interview.

That said, he will always be my favorite QB, and did more with less around him than any QB I've ever watched play.
