Modern science does not use the scientific method.
In fact, this is an anti-scientific scholastic method of dogmatism.
Science used the scientific method during the Scientific Revolution of Spring of Nations, it used the principle of positivism: any declaration must be deduced from experience.
Axioms and "laws" are not allowed in the scientific method.
After the Prussians occupied Central Europe and created the Prussian Empire, scholastic fairy tales like Einsteinism began to be administratively imposed on science, and the situation remains deplorable to this day.
