I used to love the Jets when they competed well against Miami back in the 80's! I recall the "Sack Exchange," Crazy Mark Gastineau, & from the class of '83, QB Ken O'Brien! My brother thought they w/b beat our '85 Chgo. Bears! I knew it w/b the Miami Dolphins to kill their undefeated season! I was right of course; Marino getting rid of the ball so quickly, it nullified our "4-6 Defense!" I'd rather have the 1 loss & SB as opposed to '07 NE Patriots who lost the SB, but can say they had an undefeated "regular season!"
Of course, they signed the coach to a big deal and have a big payout to get rid of him. This is the worst team in the NFL and they don't even get the first pick in the draft.

Well the Jets aren't as bad as the LV Raiders who actually beat KC, but keep the #1 Draft Pk.!
Since I despise New York City and everything it stands for, I'm pleased to see their NFL franchises, the Giants and Jets, both suffer horrendously embarrassing seasons. Both organizations are terribly run. It's quite amusing ...

It's the "limelight" that's traditional killed the success of New York teams! The #1 Media market doesn't play! Everyone's trying to make news on both sides; reporters/newspeeps & celebrity want2bees! The Knicks & Nets combined really only had the one chance back in '94 w/ Jordan on hiatus! The Knicks couldn't finish off Houston in the final! The Yankees went 13 seasons thru the 80's, in the wilderness B4 they turned it around w/ players drafted by Buck Showalter! The football teams are cursed in more ways than 1; neither actually in NY!

Browns fans are the most loyal in the world. But damn......
They are. And they've had to put up with decades of disappointment.
They finally hired a head coach: Todd Monken. Excellent offensive coordinator and once the head coach at Southern Mississippi.
Good luck, Todd. You're gonna need it, pal.
