What do you know about Epstein? I didn't know much until I watched this 4 part documentary. I always wanted to know where this guy got so much money. This documentary answers a lot of questions about Epstein, but it really does not answer this one. It is possible he was a boyfriend to a wealthy billionaire, and he did gain control over his fortune for a short time. You hear from many of the victims of this pedophile ring, as well as the lawyers from both sides, including Alan Dershowitz, who represented Epstein.
It's troubling hearing some of the stories, but the producers don't make it overwhelming. I learned about the depths of Epstein, and just how powerful he was. Seeing what happened to him in his 2009 arrest and conviction was unbelievable. They had enough evidence to put him away for life, only to be told a "plea agreement" had been worked out. The victims were never told of this beforehand, and a trial never took place. This conspiracy between the Feds and Epstein is what led to his re-arrest and a new trial, yet Epstein was suicided before it happened.
Epstein served a little over a year in jail, and was on work release for 12 hours a day, 6 days a week. His cell door was open and he was allowed visitors. All of this was unprecedented. When released on probation, all the rich and powerful people came right back to him, and the parties started up immediately. Another coroner reviewed the autopsy of the "suicide", and you can draw your own conclusions, as I did. Epstein got his start on Wall Street and was seen as brilliant, quickly getting fired for cheating, and then moving on to run the largest Ponzi scheme up to that time. Evil from the start. And he escaped any charges on that one too, due to his ability to manipulate people.
