The story of an ageing, very successful, actor who devoted his life to making movies, alienating and abandoning people along the way. At this stage in his life, he is looking back and realizing the wake he has left behind and how unimportant he really is in the scheme of things.
Certainly a story done before, this is not a new plot at all. But it is well done. Not a huge Clooney fan myself, for me his best movie is 'The Decedents" - this is right up there with that movie. He plays the character very well.
Adam Sandler again shows how he is a serious actor, and I sure wish he would do more. 'Uncut Gems" is a great movie where he shows he has abilities way-way beyond comedy.
People under 50 may not identify with this movie much. Myself at 60, can. It is a time in your life you look back and think about what you have done, and what has been really important.

It is a good movie, however if you are young - it is unlikely you will get into it.

LOL....So it's a Alex Baldwin bio-pic? :laughing0301:
