Thanks. My understanding is that for now, she will not be MOVING to the WH and living there on a continual basis as before.
It may be that:

• She found living there too constraining or boring as "First Lady."
• She doesn't like the weather of DC.
• She doesn't like the people in Washington.
• Maybe she doesn't feel safe there.
• Maybe she fears for her husband, sees herself as a distraction, or maybe Donald as a "target," and is nervous being there.

I expect her to come there for official functions, holidays and stuff.

I suspect moving back there for a second term wasn't covered in the new Prenup after it went public about him screwing Stormy and the Playboy model. Campaign trail, definitely wasn't committed to.

Apparently she will be at Trump Tower in NYC close to Barron, but that is but a short hop from DC if she needs to go there.

One source close to the Trumps told PEOPLE at the time that Melania would "not likely" make the White House her primary residence, and that she was reportedly hoping to spend more time in New York City with their 18-year-old son, Barron Trump, who just began his first year of studies at New York University.
