Sure stealing and buying stolen property are crimes, but I would think the drugs, auto thefts, rapes, murders, etc would be a higher priority than spending 8 months investigating toys

But that's the whole purpose of wasting tax dollars, having a government. What the likes of America is better off doing is having a commission between the states, just like the way the European countries used to have. Europe went down hill once it morphed into a parliament, an EU government. America is just the same principle, you guys call it a republic but we call it a shit failed EEC idea, hence why the UK left. Your states are persevering with the shit system. If not one state built into the paperwork when they joined the Union a 'get out clause', then whoever in each state who signed up to it is thick as fuck.

You guys whinge in exactly the same way the member states whinge at the EU parliament. The UK had the balls to do something about it, the other EU member states haven't and 50 US states haven't. But the UK can't fix stoopid.
