That is who Hamas is. The tunnels under Gaza are for THEIR protection, not for the Palestinian people. They can confiscate and sell on the black market whatever they want of relief food, medicine, supplies sent into Gaza. It isn't THEIR job to feed and protect the Palestinian people but it's the UN's job.

Their sole purpose is to kill as many Jews as possible and wipe Israel off the face of the Earth. And they are willing to endanger whatever of the Palestinian people, women, kids, elderly, whatever, in order to do that.

And for sure Bibi and the IDF and at least most Israeli citizens know that.

If it's common knowledge you should be able to show at least some evidence backed by a credible source for that. And FYI, whatever happened 40 or 50 years ago is not a good gauge of the situation now. 40 or 50 years ago Democrats were honorable citizens who loved America and Americans and were interested in doing good for them instead of promoting violence to tear everything down.

A lot can change in 40 years.

Well frankly, I'm surprised it has lasted this far. I'm surprised that Hamas has released all the hostages. I'm surprised Hamas even entered Phase 1. They must have done it to get back those hundreds of former prisoners. But I do not expect that Hamas would ever disarm nor go through with Phase 2. Hamas will back out and Israel will then resume fighting.

Maybe this time, they'll kick it up a notch with no more hostages in the way to distract them.
