Are there billions of barrels of oil off the Irish coast or...nothing. What will the Irish people get out of it?

What's the date on this film?

It would be nice to see references to those mentioned figures regarding taxes and mineral ownership of Irish assets.

Well, from what little I could (and couldn't) find I'll assume the video accurate re: royalties and taxes.

If these terms had not been adopted, would any company have taken the risk to drill exploratory and appriaisal wells? And how many billions did they spend in the process?

My guess is that if this ultimately pans out, terms will be renegotiated much more in favor of Irish government participation.
