the text in your article is probably factually at least somewhat accurate, and i've been telling US administration after administration - since Bush Jr actually - that the time of conquest should be over, because conquest leads inevitably to rot from within if done at too high a pace. The exact path of the US and now also China, the EU and "even" Russia, because they too have been at this for centuries already.

activism requires more than posting on forums. it requires follow ups to get the link to that post delivered to the right people, preferably keeping the press out of the loop on most of such occasion, because any leaked plan is a plan that'll never see the light of day.
