Gov. Gavin Newsom wants to "Trump proof" CA lol, two months ago he was asking if Trump would accept the results of the election! So the latest, this POS is trying to score political points with the hardest of the hard left, we're talking the nutballs and screamers, not the union delegates.
The whole thing might be a fun way to watch Newsom spiral down the sewage drain and end his political career except real people will pay the consequences of this silliness.
What are the parents going to say to Newsom when the next girl gets murdered by one of the psychopaths who slips in among them? After Newsom stood in the way of Trump sweeping up as many of these unvetted people as possible? Most are not criminals. But sure as you're born some are the worst of the worst.

Gavin Newsom's call for lawmakers to convene a special session later this year to safeguard the state’s progressive policies on climate change, reproductive rights and immigration ahead of another Trump presidency."
