the western front could have been on the outskirts of Berlin by the end 1944 BEFORE the infamous Yalta conference. Would not have to try and storm Berlin but lay siege and starve them out. Would have taken a bit longer but the war would have been over sooner and perhaps avoided some of the communist crap after the war.,

Yalta? FDR sold us out.

True, but with this video if Patton had reached Berlin before Jan-Feb 1945 things may have worked out better for the west.
The WAllies were not going to expend lives to take territory already guaranteed to the Soviets at Yalta.

Yalta was in Feb 1945. Reaching Berlin by the end of 1944 was possible. Would not have to storm the cityu either, lay siege and bomb from the air.

Berlin was already a shattered ruin inhabited by starving civilians. It wasn't going to surrender to a siege by the WAllies. It would have had to be taken the same way the Soviets did, building by building at a cost of hundreds of thousands WAllied casualties.
