Citing non-existent cases before a judge should be enough for disbarment. Yet that is exactly what ICE lawyers are doing to defend that agencies illegal and inhumane actions.

It isn't the first time it's happened.

AI is trained to be woke, which means it's necessisarily dishonest.

Sounds like they are getting ChatGPT to writer their briefs. Several lawyer (government and private) have been caught the same way, with the citing of cases, that make real lawyers skilled and well-read in law, sit up and say "Wait a damn minute, that is totally bogus!" Government lawyers are often pretty smart, but many smart ones have been terminated, run off or simply quit. Some of what's left appear to be having AI write briefs, but are too dumb to know, AI will lie and too unskilled in the law to read and see the flaws in the AI output.
