This video is of the Israeli Air force flying over Auschwitz and the ceremony is very moving. It will bring you to tears. Beautifully done. I have a very dear friend and mentor who is an American Jew and fought in WWII. He says that Israel was birthed out of the ovens of Auschwitz. I believe he is right. Long Live Israel!

It is unfortunate that some want to forget.
There are also some that after war or abuse they need to forget so they can move on with life.
We need to respectfully remember, but we also can not be consumed with that memory. There will also be great tragedies and horrific loss of life in the world. We can learn from each that will help us in he future, but we must look to the future and not be stuck in the past.
