Someone Calculated What The Minimum Wage Should Be Today Compared To The '70s In Order To Afford A Home, And I'm Literally Screaming At The Number
"All of my friends and I fantasize about what we’d do if we won the lottery, and every answer is some version of - pay off debt, go to the dentist, maybe go on vacation, fix our cars."
In the 1970's, the minimum wage was around $7 per hour. But adjusted for inflation, what would it be today?
It would be $66 an hour, showing you the power of the government spending the country into oblivion with neither party even remotely keeping up. In fact, the highest minimum wage in the US is around $17 an hour.
Now by all means, vote for more "free stuff" everyone!!!
Yay, it's a party!!!!
